Getting out and about

Getting around in Barbados is easy. From the first day you will learn all about our local transportation. The Government buses are all  big and blue. Two bus terminals are located in Bridgetown. Most buses are on the hour which will depend on the destination. There is also a yellow bus and a mini bus or (reggae bus) as it maybe best known. All bus fare are $1.50 Barbados per trip.

Taxis and hired cars are available from the Airport, Hotels and even Bridgetown. Motor bikes and bicycles can be rented. The best thing is it is very hard to get lost, maps are available at every Hotel, or my best tip is to fallow the bus stop signs to Bridgetown the capital and go from there. Enjoy you time on our island and don't get lost.
